I need the help of the PH collective.
I will soon be looking for a change of motor and am really stuck with what to go for. I am currently driving a '98 Impreza STI.... It's not the best on fuel and if I am honest I'm really just after a change.
Going to have a budget of around 4k and would like something that is still fairly special, maybe more refined (current car has a distinct lack of sound deadening), will be fun down the local b-roads and still be useable every day on the work run. Oh, and something that isn't likely to go horribly wrong all the time!
Dont think that is too much to ask for.
Have recently looked at:
Clio 1*2
Accord Type-R
E36 328
V70R
Would ideally like a car that will last me a couple of years and that I won't get bored of in a hurry.
So, in this position, what would you choose and why?
