Hi folks,

I'm new to the forums here at Pistonheads - thought I would bump a topic in and find out what folks are enjoying currently while they are driving.

Have developed a liking for Mumford and Sons recently and have been listening to that - though am liking the new Coldplay album.

Feel free to add whatever music you are liking at the moment/some all time good driving tracks.

Take it easy,

David

Foo Fighters
Metallica
Nirvana
AC/DC
Pink Floyd
Led Zeppelin

A 100 mile motorway journey in the middle of the night from London to Poole in my near silent car with cruise control set to 70 and Led Zep playing quietly and you know you don't have to be up early in the morning = heaven. A fantastic way to have all your thoughts to yourself, driving a great car and listening to great music. The perfect end to many a great day up in London!

Depends on the company, the car, the journey, the roads and the time of day or night to be honest. Very varying....from classical music in traffic jams and radio 4 or local BBC radio through to stuff like twilight sad and editors alone at night to quireboys, cult, feeder during the day with the hood down in the sun.

Chas and Dave for me, Chas was never the same when he got pretentious and signed up with Status (I wonder what Quo's doing now?).

Muse, Knight Of Cydonia. Everyone has their specific favourite; that's mine by a country mile.

same here, all factors to what i put on.
if i'm abroad, trying to find a gig i havn't done before, it will be something really chilled, and at low volume. once out on the open road, it really varies, but if we are doing an overnighter, to get from 1 gig to another, its got to be something loud, foo's and chilis feature alot at the mo smokin
