First a poor result at the general election even with the open goal left him by Labour, and now at odds with his back bench and a sizable number of the electorate over the Eu bussiness how long before someone trys to oust him ?????....

And to be replaced by who? It would have to be someone from his own party.

What sizeable amount would that be then? The small overbearing R/H bottom corner of the United Kingdom that revels in its own concieted ideals?

Who in their right mind would want to be PM at the moment?
If any power struggle were to take place, it will be once the ripples of the economic tidal wave have died down a bit and recovery is a real possibility.

Does it matter? The major parties are so keen to fight over the centre ground with no ideological differences that the reality of who is in charge of which party is irrelevant.

Well maybe he was before fox going and not being replaced with someone from the right of center then last nights little do, I would feel just a little pissed off and sidelined if I were a backbencher....

Neither Cameron nor Clegg will be ousted before the next general election, which (imho) take place in 2015. I am no fan of the govt but neither the Tories (or indeed the country) would gain anything right now if the govt fell apart (or had a new leader).

true, although I think it was a financial decision rather than anything else and, as such, an easy one to make

Millibrain will be PM in 2015.

If we had Winky incharge just now then labour would have a worse name then the tories have with the electorate

Face it very few people vote for who they want, they vote to ensure they don't get who they don't want.

I'm not so sure it was purely financial, granted finances may have played a part, but the whole idea did kinda fly in the face of tory ideals.

I'm not so sure, I think it's pretty unlikely that EM will still be there in 2015, DM maybe.

The latest incumbent has impressed no one and the average punter hasn't seen much change in his life since the Torys came to power...but, they are still pretty aware of who was in power to create this shambles in the first place. There is also the general apathy amongst voters still smarting from endless tales of expenses piss taking and constant indiscretions a la Fox.
I'm also hopeful that this absurd trend for tactical voting by those among us who feel they are politically shrewd will be seen for the dumb practice it actually is and people will vote for who they feel best represents them........if they can be bothered.

This is the bizarre thing

Brown is at fault for our huge debt not labour

However the tories can't be trusted due to Thatcher

Do the people who think it would be acceptable to replace CMD, also think it was OK for Brown to replace Blair without a general election being called?
