So on "screen" setting no big surprise the two eyeballs on top of the dash are supplied but when set to "interior" air comes out the dash eyeball next to the glovebox and out of a bit of pipe approx by my left knee when driving. the drivers side eyeball has a pipe going through the bulkhead to the big duct moulded into the inner wing so only gets ambient air and even that only when going fast enough to push some air through it.

Normal or should that eyeball normally be connected to the pipe and someones modified it? scratchchin

This doesn't sound normal.
There's a diagram here that's supposed to apply to Taimar and 3000S http://www.olenik.com/tvr/catalog.pl?page=2.44
My 3000S "conforms" so your Taimar has probably been "improved" somewhere along the line!

Many thanks for that but popped into Adrian's today while passing through Coventry and he reckons mine's right, was a factory option to have direct fresh air feed to drivers vent. Convertables were a little different.

Will see how we get on through the Winter and see if anything needs changing to help with de-misting windows, getting cold feet etc.

I always had direct air to drivers air vent in my Taimar, (77 car)
