front of my bonnet appears a bit loose. Wobbles around and moves from side to side when I open it. I tightened the retaining bolts a while back but it seems as though its moving between the metal bar that attaches to the car and the bonnet itself.

Any ideas on how its attached and if mine needs sorting? or is it a TADTS

Hi Phil glad you got back safe, i think you'll find that where the pivot pin goes into the bonnet has come unbonded i have this prob with mine, theres a bit about it in the Bible and a few tips, also Drum4it had the piece replaced and it was'nt silly expensive, although it carry 's a risk of bonnet damage. prob best to talk to him. I'm going to try to repairing mine as per bible. My silver heat stuff started falling off in LM as well, too hot i fear

I repaired mine while I had the bonnet removed for radiator replacement. I squirted as much epoxy resin into the surrounding area as possible without making a complete mess of the area. It seems to have worked as the bonnet doesn't rattle any more.

Had the same problem. Got my bro in law to re-inforce the area around the hinge bolts with some fibreglass mat. Took 20 mins, bonnet is rock solid now.
