Hmmm...

When I first got my PS3, I recall that it had a shortcut link to iplayer on the home screen.

For some reason, this seems to have dissapeared and, more irritatingly, I seem unable to stream any content from 4on demand (4OD)

ANybody had siilar problems and know how to recify?

I want to watch this is England 86 again before the new series comes out!

Thanks

Think you have to download an update, but it should still be visible under TV/Video Services.

Not so much a PS3 update, but I think following a recent one there was a requirement to download an iplayer update, but from that part of the menu... Think I've exhausted my suggestions now though!

Actually, do you have "My Channels" showing anywhere? Think that might be the link to the download.

yeah, if you look around the tv bit of the menu you should see a playstation store type affair with links to download all the different internet players. It doesn't have the link to watch direct from the internet like before, you have to download the individual players

All sorted...

It was the "channel" icon that was missing - its usually between the "game" and "video" icons.

I logged in and out of my user account, and also created a new one, and then deleted it. Hey presto, the "channel" icon reappeared.

However, despite all that faffing, I got onto a fully functioning 4OD player ... only to find (or not) that the programme I was after is no longer on there!

Thanks for the tips though chaps!

Oh...also had a "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" moment when my whole system shut down and I had to re-do the startup procedure, set the date, add my WIFI info etc.

Thankfully no data lost though.

Close shave....
