Ignition On - Warning Lights

What warning lights should come on when the ignition is first switched on?

All I get at the moment is Oil Pressure and Battery. I've never ever seen the MIL light come on which doesn't seem right at all.

Yes the mil should come on. I suggest with the engine on take one of the sensor plugs off. Mil should come on then, if not possible it's a blown bulb. But im no wires man but it's a start.

I'm 99% certain my MIL illuminates with the ignition. I'm going out in her later if the rain holds off, so I'll confirm that this evening if you don't already have an answer.

There is also a small pico fuse on the pcb with the Mil light just that two although may need to be unsoldered. Plus the mil light is a LED

I get the buzzer as well. I search this and some people do and some don't. I know my mil work properly as I has a lamba go down and mil light and buzzer whilst driving.

Fuse and LED are easy enough pop down to maplins if your good with a soldering iron

In 6.5 yrs I've always had the MIL light, the oil pressure light, the battery light and the audible tone come on when i press the black button all of which go out/off when I start the engine. Oh there's the handbrake light too which comes on and off with the handbrake, that's quite good for a Cerb ain't it?

Not wishing to hijack, but similar question so won't start a new thread!

When shutting down my engine I get 5 beeps from the internal alarm (?). Is this correct and what does it signify?

Never noticed the shutting down beeps but I'm a bit deaf in one ear I say deaf in one ear.

Let's see if the mil comes on with one sensor taken off.

And what's these fancy LEDs. In my day a light was a bulb not some electric gizmo. Answer to another thread about TVR going belly up... LEDs bloody LEDs.

have assumed its to remind you to take the removable front from it. As for the
make of the stereo I can't remember and I'm not near the car for the next few days.

My Sony unit does this.

I had exactly the same until we replaced this fuse then all worked again.

Quick and cheap fix.

Sure was, although took a bit of time having a look at the pcb, and using a multimeter, but got there in the end.

Although relatively small and minor, my ice light doesn't work, replaced the sensor, as far as i got as i done some other jobs must do it one day.
