What happened?

I thought Blue Sky thinking man was rolling this out across the network.

Stopped at a little chef on the A30 last month the place looked very rundown and food was appalling

really that is sad.

To me the mangnet came across as greedy out of touch, and focused on the 1980's. The game has moved on and they should have. i think most of the sites are being held on until they can sell for land.

Little Chef is just naff food.

I called into the one in Popham and the food was fine - just that though, fine. The bill at the end of the meal was in line with a proper restaurant, far too high to ever tempt me back again.

They should go over to America and look at some of the diner chains there. Yes, the food isn’t perfect but you get plenty for your money when you just want filling up, friendly service and they seem to be doing okay.

My view was that the boss of Little Chef only went along with the TV series for the publicity, and had no intention of changing anything.

I suspect the staff are generally OK but the management sucks.
