Ignore for the moment that the car is a replica and that the company has a truly horrible website.
It seems to me that there would be a big enough market for a small, light and (mechanically) simple electric car. Something just a little bigger than a Lotus 7 that could be left in the street.

The UK small volume (kit-car) companies together with the best auto know how should be the perfect place to design such a car.

I guess that brief is very similar to what Gordon Murray is trying to achieve with the T27, and I believe future plans for a more sporty (and hopefully more aesthetically appealing) model (T32)?
