EOS Utility

Hey,

Does anyone have any experience on using the EOS Utility to control the camera settings and downloading photographs from the memory card as the camera is still taking images.

Also can the EOS Utility be used along side a wired trigger to take the photos?

The camera being used is the 7D.

Yes, I have used it a few times, you don't even need the wired trigger, as you can also control the shutter from the EOS utility.

If you use Lightroom you can also autoimport into that.

I know that you can use the EU to control the tigger.

This is for a flight trials and we are hoping to trigger the camera at 8fps and trying the match it up a little bit to a laser that is also being triggered.

The issue is that everything is being strapped to the underside of an aircraft so we can't get access.

It's pretty hard to explain, I'll have a play about when I get home and see if it is possible.
