Croft this sunday

After wanting to for ages and not bothering due to various reasons, I finally decided to do a track day this sunday. This is the first one ive done and it is at croft (closest track to where i live), probably be the slowest there in the celica but figured id take a predictable front wheel drive car first time to see how it goes.
The format of the track day is 3 groups, has anyone done one of these before? just wondering how it works, also any other advice would be appreciated!

Croft is a lovely track, and fast. Get some instruction as early in the day as you can - it will help no end with some local knowledge and learning the lines. Build up speed slowly, be ready five minutes before your session is called so you don't waste any time. Enjoy! One of our favourites 
I'll repeat the 'get instruction' advice, it'll make your day so much more enjoyable.
IIRC it's a Javelin day (was hoping to go myself but I'm required down south for a Christening) so it'll be well run and friendly.
I also think it's a 'quiet' day, so there will only be 10 cars on the circuit at once, which takes the pressure off as you won't be holding up anyone. On that point though, it's their job to pass you on the straights, so be polite and move over, but don't feel pressured to do so until you feel able.
Clerveaux is faster than you think, but build up to it, as are the Esses & Barcroft, but build up to them too, they're daunting but fun once you get a rhythm. Treat Sunny in and out as one corner and try and be smooth round there.
If it's wet, watch your braking into Tower, it's bumpy and you can break traction quite easily.
Take sandwiches and a bottle of drink, the catering is basic at best (if you have to go to the van, chicken nuggets are better than pretty much anything else).
Have fun, as I say I was hoping to be there in the MX5, I'd have gladly sat in with you, maybe another time.

im also going for the to croft on the sunday for my first ever track day

in an old car ive never driven (toyota mr2 mk2)
iv also never really driven rwd so should learn alot
i believe the 3 groups thing is 3 lots of 20mins every hour divided by experience levels but seen as theres loads of "novices" and only a few "inter" and "expert" im not 100% sure
and look forward to seeing you there should be an enjoyable day
