Puncture Safe - Con or Good Idea?

I have no want to use it myself but just wondered how it works. It needs to be 'installed' by a mobile distributor! It 'helps expel objects that may puncture the tyre due to its lubricating and conditioning capabilities'....Now I know what I think of this but hey, maybe it works and I'm missing a trick!
