After a year or so 'playing' at trackdays, I'm quite keen (funds permitting) to get my son out there and competing.

So when I got an email-shot from a parts supplier this evening, telling me that they would be exhibiting at the Autosport show in January, it was a no-brain click-through.

Had a browse through the Autosport website, looked like it might be worth the trudge over to the NEC.

yikes

How much? Thirty fking quid for the cheapest entry ticket? So, for two of us, sixty quid for the benefit of meeting people who want to sell me stuff?

What a piss take! I think I paid £8 to get into the Geneva motor show last year!

What the fk is wrong with this country?

Not forgetting the mortgage required to park there as well.

I used to go every year but it's far too expensive now frown

Wait for the BOGOF offer nearer the time. There's always one.
Alternatively send off for your competition license Jan 1st and get the discounted tickets.
Alternative classic car show at the NEC in a couple of weeks - same sort of people there + its cheaper to get in.
