Can you get in on the gate on Sunday or is it only tickets in advance? If so is it the same price on the day?

Yes, admission on the day is no problem. Same price.

To sound just like an idiot is this the same for Saturday as this is the only day I can attend!!

Sorry, the only "single day" option available to us all is the Sunday. If you want to come on Saturday, you'll need a weekend admission ticket, and car pass if you want to park inside the venue & PF central display area.
