Dead x-box

Ok
I was on my x-box earlier but was having connection issues so turned it off.
It now wont reboot, it sits there flashing but it just wont start up. It doesnt sound as though the hard drive is spinning up, but when I took it off and had another go without it, it still wont go.

Any bright ideas or is it just fked?

doesn't sound good TBH.... could try powering off and disconnecting the power pack for a good 5 or 10 minutes, then try powering back up? take any discs that might be in the drive out before doing so as well?

just a thought?

Got it fixed, after some time on google I found out a dead hdmi lead will cause the x box not to boot up. Replaced my lead and out worked fine

Yep. Because it can't initiate an HDCP connection with the TV.

Mine will just sit there doing nothing until I switch the TV to HDMI from Scart if we've previously been using the Wii.
