So things haven't been going well for Mr Cruise of late. I mean he did a good lap round the TG track but I can't even remember the title of the film he was promoting & Mission Impossible 3 didn't do that well. This however....

Apparantly there was only one shot were they used his stunt double. scratchchin
I'm wondering if the big secret about isn't the one we all think it is but in fact he has an indentical twin, like the bloke in The Prestige.

People who have seen the entire sequence are saying that they think at IMAX screens they might have to ban people who suffer from vertigo. Now normally I would scream "Hype!" but been has I would probably pee my pants looking up at that thing, I'm not so sure. Anyway, who cares what the rest of the film is like, that section looks incredible.

I think the youtube clips from the top of the tower from engineers etc. are a bit more vertigo inducing, however depends what the final film / cut ends up doing.

The film he was advertising on Top Gear was knight and day, it's not too bad, but not great either.

He is a very well respected stuntman, has done the majority of his own stunts throughout his career.

In fact he's so good i reckon he could get away with playing Jack Reacher.
