can anyone tell me if vehicles using byways - ie green lanes/ tracks designated as byways, are subject to the same laws as metalled roads.
specifically driving vehicles that are not road legal, but also the manner in which the vehicles are driven.
Dangerous Driving includes such roads and states 'mechanically propelled vehicles' and not just 'motor vehicles' which are intended for road use.
Off the top of my head, that is..
Yep they must be fully road legal, taxed, insured, mot'd the lot.
We used to meet bib out in a 4x4 when greenlaning, catching those who should'nt be there.
