Just Finished my chassis refurb and started stripping down the engine and had a quick looky see at the cam when the valley gasket was off......oh err missus number 3 exhaust lobe is almost round although the others look ok but thats just a quick visual inspection. Seems strange that just one lobe is so obviously worn.

Aye good advice well recieved, can't believe it still made 270 bhp in that condition after 115,000 miles, looking forward to the rebuild now, intrigued as to what i may find.

Its Lordgrover's old car that i'm rebuilding so well known on here i think, the plan is to do the Growl plus the Le Mans and Spa classic's next year if the rebuild goes to plan.
