Mk 2/3 Focus vs Kia Pro c'eed

For £7k or there abouts would you consider one of the Kia Pro C'eeds over something like a Focus/Golf etc?

They seem good vlue for money in diesel form, and within that price range i mention you'd have some manufacturers warrantly left too.

Don't know what the diesel engine is like, but the petrol cars are very good. I'd have one over a Focus, and I'd only take a Golf if it had more POWAAAR.

When you say mk 3 Focus, you dont mean the one released half a year ago? No chance for £7k
Mk2 however.. great cars! Really great!
Id be keeping mine forever, if it wasnt for the fact im only going to be young once, and i need more POWWA!

Sat in one a while ago at a car supermarket. I was very impressed with it, much more so than the focus. And I think that if you have a fixed budget, you get a much older / lower spec Golf than the Kia.

So yes I would take the Kia - and would not feel it was a compromise or a budget option. The Pro'ceed especially looks very good IMHO.

I probably meant the Mk2 Focus with the Facelift which happened around 2008 i think.

That is the one i would be looking at. They look nice, especially in black with full leather.
