Can anyone plse tell me where TVR got the following and where I can get the parts in the UK. I am coming over in February:

1) front rack 025H020S or inner tie rod ends

2) motor mounts, (insulators) 025e001a (r.h.) and 020e129a (l.h)

3) bushings 025c029a 035c057a

4) mounting rubber 035c054a

5) ball joints-all four of them need replacing

6) seal 025c012a inner front bearing

7) transmission mount (insulator) 025f002a

8) page r1 part 17 and 18

My parts book has many pages with only the numbered diagram and no part descriptions so any help that you can supply would be of great help. I understand that the rear end is from Jag and the front end may be an English Ford Granada but these are only rumours

Thank you for any help that you can offer.

I think the rear end is stock 80's XJ-6 & the front end is Ford.

If you do a search (see the sticky at the top and make sure it's Yahoo UK) you will find answers on PH to where the rest of of your car came from. Plus your probably have answers posted in the morning (they work while we sleep).

Once you get the source or PN if you want to order things, there is WWW.TVRCARPARTS.COM. There are also of couple of good 'vintage' Ford part websites in the UK (for UK Fords). And for real basic things there is a place call www.halfords.com which is like an AutoZone and I imagine ships to CN. Grady

This guy on ebay has a few bits and Ive used him before with no troubles.
he has got the track rod ends (pictured) and the set of four ball joints for sure but have a look round on his site for the other bits.

And to confirm, front end Ford Cortina/granada brakes.
rear end Jag.

Does John have a web site or email? I found a TVRNA.com but it appears to be somewhat frozen in time:

"The company is currently owned by Nikolay Smolensky of Russia. Unofficial reports say that the TVR is looking to bring out a new model in 2010 and that it will be the best TVR model." biggrin Grady

Grady,

TVRNA.com used to be owned and operated by Charley Colbert, a long-time member of the TVRCCNA until his untimely death last year. I have no idea who is using that domain name now.

I don't know whether John Wadman monitors his email. If you need parts, just pick up the phone and call his shop.

I 'm not crazy about phones but gave a call - weird to hear the phone answered "TVR". But not the part I need. Grady

Front suspension is Mk 4/5 cortina Mk2 Granada. Hubs are granada. Steering rack is Cortina.

Rear end is partly Jaguar based (working on mine now)! The differential and braking system is the same as a Mk1 XJS, also XJ6/12.
