Its interesting.. im guessing even an LS Cerb doesnt have the power to weight ratio of a "bean tin" light civic with all its interior removed and a big turbo plumbed in.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cwCscTKKjdw

I think if you want to do modern street legal drag racing the way to go is a Skyline..

Last time i was at skool anyways...
The Civic is also claiming 635rwp, where as mine is only 532rwp.
There were two 700bhp skylines at Shakey this weekend, one was going for some record or other, but managed a best of 10.9.
Mine also gets used as a repmobile and a trackday car.
Says something for the chassis being pretty good to me, the driveline/wishbones etc once the shafts are sorted must be pretty tough too.

Sorry mis read though the Civic had the lower time.. Not knocking your time at all.. I do know in the US theres lots of sub 11 civics which are FWD. And yes to still be used as a track day and ever day driver is crakcing as a lot have drag specific suspension setups and the FWD cars have pram like rear wheels. So not really everyday driver material.Last time i was at skool anyways...

Thats a very very respectable time for a Road Car.
Best I every managed was 10.02 / 139.99 mph on my TL1000 running 60 bhp nitrous, extended swing arm, front end strapped down etc etc. Never did get under 10s or over 140mph, those barriers just get harder to overcome the faster you go. (or should I say more expensive to overcome)
