when i bought my car in june the rad had a small leak,so as the car was under warranty, new one was fitted, did take 3 weeks though, its then been back several times for hoses & clips to be checked as there was still a small leak, which only starts after a drive when the cars up to temperature, didnt leak under a pressure test at the garrage, turns out its the brand new rad,so another new one to be fitted next week, thats gotta be some kind of record.

I had a similar experience with recorded and reconditioned radiators. Intensely annoying. Then I bought an all welded alloy rad. Been perfect for the last 2 years.

if only!these are brand new high efficency alloy rads, first one was just over two years old, second one not even two months old, heres hoping the new one lasts a bit longer.
im hoping its just bad luck & not a sign of corners being cut by the manufacturer,as alot of us will have them fitted in our p&j's.
