So I came out to the alfa this morning to find a broken mirror and minor paint damage on my car, looking up the road I see a 207 that looks like it's now ready for the scrappers and assorted mirrors and windscreen wipers littering the road. A brand new merc van will need to visit a body shop too.

I'm so mad I can't think straight. Called the cops who will be coming round to take a look at least.

Friday morning I went out to the car to find 2 tyres slashed in the sidewalls. Looking up the road there was at least half a dozen cars in a similar state.
Phoned the BiB, got a crime number, won't be coming out.

It's st! £130 for 2 new tyres for the shed frown

I simply do not understand what mindset a person has to do such things.

But I think 50 lashes in the public square should help the culprit see the error of their ways.

Really sorry to hear that. Such a pee boiler when things like that happen, and in such cases it's very hard to find the culprit(s). Really makes you wonder what kind of pleasure someone would derive from such actions.

Hope you get the damage sorted at minimal cost op.

where's the incentive in this country for the underclass to not do things like this?

Really sad to see this sort of behaviour. I firmly believe in Karma, so I am sure justice will be served one way or another..

Hope the 159 is ok.

You shouldn't need an incentive to not be a mindless twunt. It's called human decency. Something many Brits seem to lack these days.

Someone etched a union jack scratch into my Boxster a few years back, annoyed me even more to think they'd spent time on it frown

Someone felt the need to do this to my car earlier this year.

Just suck it up.

Thanks guys. I knew some of you would have been through the same. I remember a guy on here with an aston that got keyed. I'll try and suck it up, just winds me up that I am probably supporting some of them with benefits.

Full restoration of my capri a few years ago, me and my bestate spent over a fortnit in his bodyshop stripping, welding, prepping, doing every bit of it, even had the new screen fitted afterwards so no paint lip.

Less than a week later, deep key gouges all over the bonnet and roof.

That is st. tts who do this don't really think about it. It's mindless and they know there will be no comeback. IMHO the police need to come down HARD on stuff like this and other ASB, I think it would have a knock on effect on more serious crime - they get punished and hopefully it steers them away from more serious stuff as they have a taste of the consequences.

Some kid walked all over the back of my car at a school I teach at a couple of years ago - fortunately it was caught on CCTV. They got a bking (oooh!) but unfortunately they didn't chase them for the money. School coughed for repairs but it still annoys to this day that the parents didn't have to pay.

Just had a lot of bodywork/paint on my P&J and petrified something will happen to it. Will probably spend the next year in the garage...
