After an MX5 - is this a good one??

I've been after an MX5 for a while, and have been trying to persuade SWMBO that it is a good idea. Finally got a tentative yes, with a max £3k budget set. No probs I thought, should get a good one for that money. But happened to put a search in just to see what is available if the budget is stretched, and came across this one:

What do people think? Have never bought or looked at an MX5 so any info gratefully received.

It would be good if your name was Ads!

Any car can look good in an advert, seeing it in the metal is the only way to tell really. Go see the car, if you like it get an AA, RAC etc check done.

Looks pricey to me, TBH. Plenty available, so the opportunity to be v choosy. Euphonics are in that bracket, which is a nice spec.

Looks good but need to go and see it really.

This - but ask the question about the drain holes first and if you get a puzzled look in response, walk away.
