The Ford Focus ST section of classifieds,,,,,,

Every day, traders post non Focus ST cars into this classifieds section, I suspect because they know that no-one is going to come to PH looking for a bulk standard Focus model.

Why cant the mods find a way of easily policing this>? Its pointless raising a report as dozens get posted everyday and nothing much seems to stop these traders messing up this section.

Come on mods, its time to do something abot this spamming of a classifieds section. Its clearly being done on purpose. Trying to buy or sell an ST is being ruined.

The point is that the mods would not be able to do anything about this; in case someone was expecting an immediate action.

The people who could help will be in the office tomorrow (those who get paid to do this stuff) and will get to see this.

As an FYI - the PH mods are all volunteers, and are not paid. We do typically respond to mod-related actions immediately, 24*7. Stuff like the classifieds, etc, is run by the HayMarket guys; so being realistic they probably would not see this until tomorrow at the earliest.

Just clarifying that we could not respond or action this as we would do normally.

Ie the mods helpfully moderate the forums on a volunteer basis, and other areas of the ph.com site are run by paid Haymarket staff, I guess?

The Focus ST section is having an issue with a faulty regular expression, so when we get dealer stock they're going to the wrong section. There aren't any dealers trying to maliciously get their base Focus into the Focus ST section. Thanks for flagging it up and we'll have it sorted out in a day or two (as it takes time to test the regular expression)
