front lights

how are the front light bulbs changed ? can they be reached with the wheels on.
also does anyone have any experiance with central TVR ? recently bought a 4.5 and they did the 12000 mile service.

It is possible with the wheel on, if you have a short stubby screwdriver, but It's a struggle, it's a lot easier and quicker to take the wheel off.
It's a very high tech complicated system for changing the light bulbs......Inside the wheel arch is a piece of round fibreglass, held in place by 3 self tappers and a load of silicone. Tip - mark the cover before you remove it, so you can put it back in the same position (otherwisw you'll be faffing around trying to get the holes lined up)

For the Tuscan style lights.

You will need to remove the front wheels to get access to the front lights. There are access panels in the front of the wheel arch directly behind the front lights held in place by half a dozen self tapping screws. Remove this and you can get at the bulbs. They are behind a black rubber cover which you kinda peel of and then the bulb and wires can be removed from the headlight and replaced.

Have you thought about HIDs far brighter and updates the front of the car when driving at night and also better than the yellow effect that you get as standard.

thanks for the quick replys , i have a set of dip-able HID'S that are H4 so i'm hoping they will improve the lights , or i'll be using a set of night vision goggles !!

I've got those on mine, it's a HUGE improvement. There's plenty of room inside the front wings to fit the ballast's. It's best to mount them on the inner wing (inside the wing) so the bolts go through to the engine compartment. Make a template up so you can drill the holes through from the Engine compartment.
