Crashed Chim in Dudley, West Mids

Hi Guys,
I sold my chim a couple of months ago to a local garage. I've since seen it driving around with it's new owner - male around 25-35 ish.
Anyway on the front page of the local newspaper on Saturday there was a report of an incident involving a TVR Chim and an Audi, both releativly unhurt but i can imagine a very sorry chim. I think it was possibly my old chim, UIL 9794 Chianti red, but is there anyway of checking just out of interest?
