I didn't see the very start of the accident, but there was a line of oil/fluid dropped by one of the trucks, and I can only presume that the fire truck came down paddock, hit the oil, lost the back(where I saw it from)and flipped it. Looked quite nasty, front of cab was a bit squashed, I think the driver walked away after a bit, but the passenger was carted off in the ambulance.
British Truck Racing round.
Big accident on entrance to Graham Hill bend on Lap 2, with truck rolled and driver trapped.
For obviouse reasons all regular marshalls stand well out of the way during the racing, basically in with the crowd.
What was strange is that none of these marshalls were attending the rolled truck, only what may be specialist recovery.
Anyhow....after several minutes with the truck on it's side the Fire Pick-up comes out of the paddock and around Paddock Hill bend, little does he know one of the Trucks in lap 1 had dropped diesel all round the track.
Fire truck gets well sideways, everybody cheers....then as it gets to the steepest part of paddock it flips onto it's roof rupturing the fire extinguishers, then lands back on it's wheels.
Driver and passenger from Fire Truck now trapped aswell......Marshalls then descend from everywhere....complete Chaos.....
Both Fire attendants and driver from original Truck crash all taken to medical centre.
Fire Truck driver/passenger had no crash helmets, so hope they are all OK. Fingers crossed just whiplash. Race Truck driver may have broken shoulder.
Needless to say it all took a littel while to clear up.

That video and indeed the Ten_tenth comments do give rise to some questions.
How come the crew of the truck apparently weren't wearing seatbelts and didnt have helmets on, and the truck doesnt have a roll-cage?
Althought that then questions as to why was it out bearing in mind it appears the rescue crews were already at the incident?

Yes, it was a huge crowd - it took me by surprise.But Brands make it a bit of a family day out via the 'Halloween' theme. Plus they have a large truck display/show (apparently 'one the best in the South East' - this according to the organiser)
But the trucks are very impressive, reaching over 100mph, 5 tons, 12+ litre engines & water cooled brakes. Also, the Pick Up trucks always put on a good show. Not that I saw much of the above as the 5 year old was more interested in the Water Zorbing, Bouncy Castles, Bumper Cars etc...
pretty sure that the driver of the fire truck was not wearing his seatbelt, a very lucky man to get out ok, especially as no roll cage fitted in the truck, but have to say it was a spectacular accident with the extinquisher going off, must have been shooting up 40 to 50ft into the air!
I`ve been to watch the truck racing at end of season at brands for the last 4 years, and it was by far the biggest crowd I`d ever seen there for that event, it took ages to get back into a que on the m25
