I am looking for some advice on our next car. Due to circumstances (self-build house easting up all our cash over last few years) we have been stuck with a VW Fox which I have grown to hate with a passion after 36,000 miles and 16 months. We now have freed up some cash and I had been looking for a BMW 318D touring but after failed IVF
I am thinking of something slightly smaller. I then thought about a 2008ish 118D as they seem really economical if not the best looking car (as I do around 35k a year) but wondered if anyone has any better suggestions? Ideally it would have to be economical and mid size - I am hoping to use this for most of my running around and then convince the OH that a xj/xjs would make a great weekend car.....
