I crashed an ambulance earlier. All my own fault as well.
Thankfully no injuries and my truck is still operational (unlike the other blokes car)

At the very least: bking
Probable: bking, statement, accident report, test-drive with an instructor, merciless pisstaking
At the very worst: disciplinary followed by discharge

I suppose I can always get a job as a stunt driver

Surely a disciplinary and dismiss won't be the case unless you were drunk/on drugs/being wreckless?

Wreckless is the last thing he was being by the sound of it.

Hope it works out for you fella.

Putting a positive spin on it, if there had been injuries you'd have had a blinding response time to the scene...

Just to clarify, I wasn't having a pop at the OP, merely making a weak joke on the old "reckless/wreckless" chestnut.

The worst thing about this mess this evening was that there was a copper on the roundabout at the time.
Now I'm gonna have to live with the shame of having the police think I cant drive.

Well OP I hope everything works out well for you.

I for one am grateful to you for having the b**ls to drive with the blues and twos on to try and save lives.

Well thanks smile it means a lot

So far I've been taken off driving duties until I can do a driving assessment, written a statement, and been mercilessly ribbed about it.
So far, so good
