Rear diffusers... go one, who's scraped theres??
Discussion
OK, to make me feel slightly better who's scraped there Tiv on a bumpy back road before? Unfortunately this afternoon when driving along one of my favourite roads (Stokesley to Helmsley) I forgot about how low the rear diffuser would get in a compression dip and managed to scrape the bugger!
It sounded pretty nasty, looks it too however after a few hours with some fibreglass resin to tie up the stray weaves, and a gentle skim of filler its ready to be painted, just need to get some prices tomorrow!

We've scraped the front splitter many times in our 8 years plus Tamora ownership, much less so after the suspension was raised (front ground clearance about 4 1/2 inches now, had been nearer 3 1/2 inches when we picked her up from the factory many years ago).
We've only scraped the rear diffuser once, and that was exiting a multistorey car park in Monaco. I had a feeling it would happen when I saw the large angle between the car park slip and the main road, and I was correct (despite going slowly). Have you got the rear suspension height sorted? A couple of years ago after changing to Gaz Gold Professionals I was getting the rear suspension hitting the stops in a dip rather than grounding the rear diffuser, so I had the rear suspension firmed up a bit and now not a problem. However, the significant difference for us in the number of front/rear groundings may suggest a rear suspension setup issue for you?

I unfortunately smashed mine (reversing into a high curb whilst 3 point turning
) the day before a planned road trip in France...so I'm looking for a new one.
With the diffuser bolt having come out I needed to get it sorted whilst away. Our starting point was Carentan in Normandy and the only garage was a Renault Van dealership.
The main problem is none of the staff spoke French (mine is pigeon French at best) but we managed to get the car up and with around 8 mechanics and staff watching on the diffuser secured. I think I made the mechanics week when I started her up and had them all in and out of the car and poking around the cockpit - very amusing!

I've done worse...drove through some electric gates (they were open) and the metal stay in the road ripped the diffuser clean off, had to get another from a breaker and then had it repainted. Never even occured to me the stay woul dbe too high, wich ot wasn't without any luggage in the car.
