Diagnostic software P38...

Does anyone know where i can get the diagnostic software for the ecu's on a P38, my normal fault code reader only does limited things and I'd love to get into it and sort out some of the niggles without paying £30 a throw to take it to a company with testbook..

I've seen a few people on forums with a much more advanced system running of a laptop, this doesnt look anything like testbook but enables you to change all the settings within the ecu, i wouldn’t mind paying a small amount for this but in the hundreds wouldn't make it cost effective...

I dont need the EAS system that you can get on ebay as i converted to coils a long tme ago (thank god)

He invested in a decent setup to restore a P38, but think he researched lots of other (cheaper?) Setups first.
