They're all basically polishing compounds. At work we use a 3M solution, first lightly coarse then fine with one of those rotating buffing things. Works really well.
3000 grade wet and dry then abrasive polish followed by mild polish with orbital polisher. Be careful not to burn the plastic though. Worked a treat on my Passatt covers.
