Selling my TVR as I now need a 4 seat convertible, quite a few 2002/3 M3 verts seem to fit my price bracket.I used to have e36 323 vert that suffered with the shakes how does the e46 fare.I don't mind a little but is it that promonent as my old one used to squeak on the door/window rubbers.
cheers

Not sure how it compares to an E36 but it is definitely still there with an E46. Obviously not so bad with the roof up and even better with a hard top, but you can definitely feel it with the top down.

At Launch, BMW stated that the E46 M3 cab was stiffer the the E36 M3 Coupe.

I get a bit of shake in mine over poor roads. The 19" wheels probably dont help.

They do shake and wobble a bit but you only really notice on rough surfaces.I cant say that i have ever noticed mine squeaking or creaking much during normal driving though as this would do my head in!

Fitting the hard top stiffens the car up a lot but this does tend to squeak/creak a bit if you dont grease the rubber seals first.

I am thinking of selling my 53 plate car in the near future although im guessing it is going to be quite a painfull moment as the car is now probably worth less than half what i paid for it!! weeping
