Hello Everyone,

I've been lurking in the shadows learning from you all for many months, and last week took the plunge. I bought a V8V. Toro red, 56 plate (07 model).

Had a wonderful weekend out playing, although I think there must be something wrong with the petrol gauge, as surely I didn't get through that much Really nice reaction from passers-by and other road users. Feeling pretty chuffed to be an Aston owner.

I'm in the Bristol area, so if there are any meets in this part of the world, I'd love to pop along. Any excuse to drive it somewhere really!

You'll get used to the petrol gauge being pulled rapidly downwards

so, where can I get some non-standard alloys to match the chrome wrap I'm planning?

thanks, the colour wasn't really my first choice, but everything else added up. I'm just a few miles up the road.

I managed 4.6 mpg at one point on the N Wales drive on Sunday
