You will probably continue with the same problems, unfortunately. Try these people, and get a better one.
eg. 'A' grade 15" SVGA for £25 inc. VAT
'A' grade 21" SVGA for £40 inc. VAT
I've had several monitors etc from them, and have no complaints.
