Faired in like the last Chims, gonna get mine done once I've stopped spending money on the engine, brakes and suspension (although I'm just about there with the engine..... maybe). I voted for the Griff type option...

for those of us that are not two ofay (is that the right spelling?) need pics of the differences!, i have a couple of customers that have covers over the front that look a bit like the t350, personally i think look perfect.

I have looked at the various options and came to the conclusion that the later covered lights are the ones for me when I finally get my respray. Keeps the original look and IMHO suits the car.

T350 would be my second option, but I do prefer the covered lights.

Lupo - I had a good look at lots of chims with this conversion at chatswoth this year, the fit and finish of nearly all of them was poor IMHO. Some of them may have been home conversions but not all so I wouldnt consider this route as I want something that looks original fit not clearly after market bodge up.

the other twin light conversion - all the ones I have seen look very slick and original but I just prefer the old style single headlamp.

I think you should all change to one, or some combination of all of the above, and then I will have the only original Chimaera on the planet.

If you ever want to install HID's then you should limit your choice to the twin units with the correct projector lenses IMHO.

Check this link for an example of all the above..

It's the MK3's for me every time..

Then Tuscan's.

Then Standard.

Then Lupo's.

Later style faired in covers with the far brighter Lupo lights look best.
Personally I'm not a fan of the Sp12/Tuscan style conversions and the T350 covers really don't suit the Chim when it's viewed as a whole car, they don't fit in with the full body shape.

I've often tried to visualise what the standard set up would look like but with the 'cowls' blended in to the wings scratchchin

Tuscan for me [though I look at them as Cerbera LW and not Tuscan] They match the already 'frenched in' indicators perfectly. I would say that though wouldn't I.
