My Grohe thermostatically controlled shower has got progressively cooler although there is hot water available, anybody able to advise how to recalibrate the temp control?

If you are mechanically bent you may be able to dismantle the thermostatic valve and descale it.YMMV

I have two of this make in the house and find that the one I use each day can sometimes 'run cool'. I have found that if you turn it all the way to the coolest and then hottest and then the temperature you want it resolves it. Give that a go? I have really quite soft water here so it's unlikely to be a scale issue.

Turn it from hot to cold, hot to cold, hot to cold a dozen times now and a then, this helps to break up any limescale. Might work for you if it isn't yet too bad.
