An Audi A8 travelling the other way on the A11 at Elveden the other night. Very odd, I thought the bloke was driving along in the dark with just his DRL's until I spotted there was a proper beam pattern and his tail lights were on.

Looks like DRL's with a more intense light than Xenons. Not any more unpleasant than properly aligned halogens or HID's to my eyes but I can already hear the whingeing...

I forsee the unification of the anti-HID and anti-DRL troll brigades
