As per the title anyone know where I could get such a thing? I don't want actual brick (they are for an internal partition wall so don't think it would stand the weight) but some sort of decent synthetic brick looking thing. Any ideas?

There is a company near me who slice up bricks into slips - can be as thin as 10mm. Would that be an answer? http://www.bricklogic.co.uk/brick_slips.asp

I assume these will be too heavy for a internal partition but would stand corrected if you knew better?

This link was supposed to be posted in jest, but having had a good look at some of the designs, I'm now thinking of where I can use some. smile

That's the sort of think. Thanks. My missus wants to make my sons room look like a mechanics workshop.

The grand designs that aired last sunday has some kind of brick effect tiles made from plastic. Don't know if they mentioned the manufacturer. But they simply glued them in place and the effect wasn't bad at all.

Local builders merchants to me will cut full bricks down into slips or you can buy them pre made. Quite a few places on line do them but they are about 35 quid a box.
