Hi guys

I've just bought, and picked up today a C350 Estate, 55 plate. Jumped in and tried to pair my Iphone 4 via bluetooth. They seem to pair, but it then says that the MB end isn't set right or something to work with the Iphone. A quick google suggests there are problems, but knowing how knowledgeable PH is, I thought you might be give me a run-down/solution in layman's terms?

Cheers

You need to have the hands free kit installed to get it to work. There should be something in the cubby box between the seats, it is that that you need to pair to, not the comand. I still haven't worked out why comand itself has bluetooth pairing as it deosn't seem to do anything!

Ooh right....

In the central cubby, there is a connection, but not for an Iphone. My mate who's an IT whizz wants a nose at the car so will get him to have a look!!

That shouldn't matter. The connection between the phone and car is Bluetooth. The cradle is only so the phone can be charged while in the car, and can use the car's externally-facing aerial. You can use an iPhone with our Blackberry cradle installed in the car.

I take it you know the password for the car? It's MBUSA, or 62872.

Into that connection you need to put the Bluetooth unit. Merecedes do their own, or Viseeo which is my choice.

Ring them, Alfie and Richard are great guys and will help you out.
