Scotland meet Sunday 13th November
Discussion
I know its a bit late in the season but better late than never. We've spoken about it often enough but nothing ever seems to happen so I thought I'd try and get a wee get together organised for us Scottish Noblers. It'll probably be the last decent run many cars will get this year so please make an effort (weather permitting)to come along and get this first meet off the ground.
When; Sunday 13th November
Where; The Famous Grouse Experience by Crieff. I chose there because firstly, its reasonably central for everyone, there's some great roads around the area, there's plenty parking, and the food is also very good. I have spoken with the events manager there and she is keen to have us there and has also very kindly offered to section off an area of their car park so that we can all be parked together. If anyone wants to go on the excellent distillery tour (£8.95 with 2 tasters) it would be advisable to book it in advance on here alongside your name and car details.
What time; aim to be there 1030-1100 so we can meet up/chin-wag/check out other cars etc before going in for lunch or a distillery tour.
To boost numbers on the day and perhaps create an interesting convoy ,Graham (Hollowpockets) suggested to me about opening this up to a couple of other British sports car forum sections; TVR, Morgan and Lotus,- which I think is a fine idea, so I will post this up on their respective forums too.
Add your names to the list below in the following format please;
----------Name--------------Car------------Distillery Tour

crieff bloody crieff central! lol hmm il'l have to check rota's for work. and the car was due to head to teh garage to sort the boosting/fueling problem but i could be up for it.
Central! Haha, well I think it is!
My rough estimates; from Aberdeen 1hr 40m, from Edinburgh 1hr 30m, from Glasgow 1hr 40m.Hope you can all make it, weather regardless, WITH OR WITHOUT your Noble, it will be good just to put some faces to the names and hopefully lay some foundation for future meets. It'll only be us 6 or so Nobbers there, nobody from either lotus, morgan or tvr has responded, probably too busy fixing their cars to come out and play.

Current list;
1) IainRS Noble M400 Yes X2
2) Hollowpockets Noble M400 Yes x2
3) Naso Grande Noble M12 GTO-3 Yes X1
4) K7LSY Noble M12 GTO-3R Yes x1
5) Jaz34 TO CONFIRM
6) Slipstream 1985 TO CONFIRM
7) Dealmaster TO CONFIRM

Hi guys,
Nice meeting you all - always good putting a face to names.
I hope you got back home ok.
And great chat over lunch.
Being at the back of the car convoy going home gave me a great view and what I site and sound of four Nobles in transit - brought a tear to my eye :-)
I've not downloaded my pictures yet - will do that later tonight.
Looking forward to the next one - hopefully slight better weather.
Catch you later,
Cheers
Kenny

Cheers for making the effort to come out yesterday folks, it wasn't exactly a great day for driving a Noble around the countryside but it was fantastic to see and hear 4 Nobles driving together. Good to meet you all and i can't wait for the next run. I'll put something together for next April.

Thanks again Iain for organising our wee get together. It was great to meet such a nice bunch of people and the day seemed to pass all too quick.
My apolgies for the poor navigation through Dunkeld which put me & Hollowpockets on the road you advised against
I made a detour in to Forfar for fuel which I think surprised Graham behind me but I couldn't think of the next nearest place.
Unfortunately by the time I got home the engine was running a lot rougher than at the start of the day
Roll on next spring!! Hopefully a few more will join in the next time.
All the best,
Graeme

Had a great time and as above was nice to finally meet some owners, north of Essex of course
It was fitting that the first proper scottish meet was at a distillery with some whisky and good food involved!
Shame about the running issues,
I thought you must have been going in search of fuel Graeme, I braved it and was just dropping on to empty as I pulled in the drive.
eeek'd 210 miles from a tank.
Roll on next year and some more events and runs.
Cheers
Graham

Hope your cars not too sick. That will almost certainly be the last decent run my car will get for some time, quite a thought putting it away till almost next April!
Hope to see you all next year on a drier and sunnier day.
