Hi all

I am new to this room.

I had a meeting in Aylesbury yesterday, followed by one if Wallingford. anyway the satnav took me across country. sadly I was in the Van and not the VR.

but I spotted at least 5 red kites along the route. the only reason I knew what they are is an endangered species, video back at school.

anyway though it was good to see there doing well.

I think they have absolutely flourished in the Chilterns and Oxfordshire/Vales etc.

You're pretty much guaranteed to see them constantly now around Stokenchurch and Wycombe areas.

Great to see.

So successfully reintroduced there are bordering on becoming problematic.

They're everywhere round here. The most I've seen at once is ten, all circling in the same area. But I usually see several every day.
