Door window stop

Hi All,

Just a wee query here regarding the upper park/stop positions of the door windows.
Noticed that my passenger side window when in the fully closed position is just meeting the rubber door frame seal in no more - feel like it needs to travel a couple of mm more to form a good seal.
What Im wondering is, are the window stop positions governed by a physical "stop" within the door OR by a contact/switch actuated by the window itself once it reaches a specific height?
Whichever it may be, are there adjustments which can be made to allow it to travel a little further.

The window stops moving up when the glass releases the microswitch at the front edge of the door. There is also a stop on drive track, but it is the switch that controls the top position. If you can move the switch up slightly that should solve it. You may need to slot the hole for the mounting bolt slightly.

Gives me an idea now what to be looking for instead of going in blind.
Does accessing the micro-switch require the removal of the door card?

You will provably need to lift the glass out to get full access to the switch. Mark its position in the clamp with a pen or tape before you remove it so you can get it back in exactly the right place.

Don't be tempted to think you can just move the glass up in the clamp to make it close higher, the switch operates on the bottom edge of the glass it will close in the same place regardless of how much you move it!
