Suspension Options

Hi All,

Got the car in for some work at the moment and have been advised that one of the shocks is leaking.

What are the options for replacing them..Standard or an aftermarket improvement ?
I dont really want to make the car any stiffer if thats possible.

Cheapest option to have them re-furbed. They will be as good as new if done correctly.

Speak to Tux on here. He has developed a set of 2-way adjustable's designed and built specifically for the Noble M12. There are several owners on here who have bought them including myself and I can report that they are fantastic.
Cost under £1k all in which is very reasonable.

The Protech dampers are fully adjustable on both bump and rebound giving you plenty of options for both track and road , springs rated we set slightly stiffer than STD 3R but not as stiff as the M400 , if you have any queries give me a shout . Tux

Penske adjustables were fitted to mine before I bought it. No idea of cost or where to get them but I could find out from the cars previous owner I'm sure.

Tuxman's dampers are a good option & proven.

Got these on my car and I really like them on both road and track, Id recomend them.

I have the m400 suspension on my car and i like it

its probably a bit too stiff for the road but i always prefer stiffer supsension on my cars

the car really feels like it is on its toes when cornering

i have toyo tyres and it all feels good on the limit much easier to drive than the orignal corsa's that used to break away quite quickly

i have driven stock Nobles and found then to have too much body roll

just my opinon

If that is Washy's old car then the Penskes were factory fitted. Ran out of Dynamics during the build apparently, lol.

We run Koni shocks in the US on all Rossion Q1s, have sold a few to M400 guys as well, and they're loving them over the original ones that came on the cars. We have two options, the standard SP8 shocks, or the 3012 double adjustable ones.

I have also be recommended the nitron road setup. How do these compare to tux's shocks ?

lots of people run nitrons, nice shocks and having been in cars with them on I thought they were good... but in truth the protec ones are better as they allow the rebound to be set up for the car precisely.

The peske ones are loads more money (3 times i think) but will be better... I went for the best I could find for under 1500, I do know BAD do some really really nice ones for 1800 which I did seriously consider but couldnt justify it over the ones I got.

Nitron's are very good & lots of options but value for money Tuxman's Protech offer everything you require, good adjustability & spring rates making them ideal for road use & track where as some units are more track biased therefore not as good on the road.
