But on the other hand if the seller is just trying to prevent someone finding a similar car (ie/ his) and cloning the plate then he's done the right thing. I wouldn't expect a car cloner to physically travel to said road to get the full reg.
On the other hand your mate/you have left your full postcode in the A/T ad - GU3 2EA

I always have Autotrader on and old postcode which isnt mine
