Printing...DPI

I know most people recommend printing at 300dpi or higher, but how much of a difference in quality would there be between 150 and 300 dpi? Just curious as I've got a whole load of photos to get printed at about 8x10" in size and they are currently saved at 150dpi. Not sure whether its worth the time opening up all the .psd files to resize them.

At that size the honest answer is very little although most printers will claim differently. However, it's very easy to set up a "droplet" in photoshop to process and save all the files in one drag/drop so for peace of mind you can change them all to 300 quickly and easily. I wouldn't try to process millions at once but that depends on you machine:

It makes precisely no difference. You have a fixed number of pixels to start with.

Double the dpi and your image becomes half the physical size. Expand it back to fill the page and you're back where you started.
