Hi anyone going to the real event . I'm travelling down with a 289 Cobra and a Works Cooper S so some Vettes and intelligent conversation are sought. Will be at the Harlequin bar in Arnage most nights

I am on my way down to the west coast of France on that weekend and am currently trying to convince my wife that it would be a great stop over on the way to our holiday destination. A little resistance at this time but my 15 year old petrol head son is nagging her as well.

If successful, will try to see you at Arnage - won't be in the Vette sadly unless I can cram both kids and the luggage in the back!

Did think I might try the "old car" LeMans this year so I may be making the trip in the purp ZR1.

I will wait for the old fart comments from VHR, JT and the like.

Vettes from Le Mans 60/65/68/69/71 running so an opportunity to see colours other than yellow! And a sprinkling of Shelby 350s and proper Ford GTs. So can probably pass on the intelligent conversation

Nagging appears to have worked - compromise achieved - drop wife and daughter at holiday location, return to Le Mans with my son to enjoy racing!!!!!!!!!!!!

Questions - Can anyone tell me the format on the Sunday? Is there a web site to view or is it the normal Le Mans ones? Is there night racing?

First time for me but in 2002 I believe each class raced for 2 hours at a stretch. Continuous racing for 24 hours.
