If you could only eat one type of meat for the rest of your life what would it be?

Always thought it would be beef for me. My last meal would probably be a nice fillet steak and I love things like lasagne, bolognese, chili etc but I think pork would be the actual choice.

I mean you can have sausages, bacon, you can use pork mince for most of the recipes above and who doesnt love nice big roast pork with tons of lovelly salty crackling?

Has to be the winner for me cloud9

Rib of beef. This of course assuming there are no side effects for a prolonged exposure....

If it was only one animal, I'd go with pig.

I think my favourite meat would be beef but since the question is do you want to eat it for the rest of your life you need to consider versatility and as has been said, pork wins. There are just so many different tasting things you can do with a pig.

It would have to be lamb for me, while I appreciate the pork versatility. I'd miss the bacon rolls, but I'd miss curry more and pork just doesn't work so well then.

Lamb - kebabs, curry, burgers, roast, chops, shanks, moroccan and north med dishes, good french dishes.

Lamb for me too. I'd miss bacon, but merguez sausage would more than make up for that.

Lamb 'ham' is good too - more like salt beef than ham as we know it but very tasty.

Would be pork for me for all the reasons above in terms of versatility. I could get used to only eating traditional goan vindaloo for pork curry and all other times i would be happy with veg curry. Really fancy some jerk pork now

I'll stick with pig, for the reasons given above, though MC & Alfa make a good case for lamb lick
If it was my "last meal" then I'd probably choose beef with yorkie puds.

Beef is by far away my favourite but everyday for the rest of my life... I think I'll go with Porks greater versatility.
