Welsh FA throwing toys out of their pram? GB Olympic strip.
Discussion
So, over the last week and a bit the Welsh FA have been getting upset because Bale, and now Ramsey have modeled the Olympic GB football strip. So, at what point does a player right to play for his 'country' outweight his FA's wishes? Does anyone know what power the welsh FA has over these players, and can they get stroppy enough to take action?

the FAW have no power to stop their players joining up with the olympic squad and they are hardly likely to impose any penalties on the likes of ramsey and bale given they are the best welsh players around at the moment. the FAW and the rest just look pathetic. its well known fifa would like to cull a few teams given the farcical state of world cup qualifying in europe... san marino, faroe islands etc etc so the welsh fa are worried fifa will put pressure on making a Team GB a permanent feature.
personally i think the welsh fans who are so anti-team gb are short sighted and very petty. same for the jocks and the northern irish. its a once in a lifetime opportunity for those players yet some selfish, nationalist fans think they have the right to block the players taking part.
incidetally, i thought the blue strip was "supporters" strip and not the actual team gb shirt which has yet to be released?
